How birth-date digit reduction works

Gregorian digits are summed and reduced while keeping 11, 22, and 33.

Digits of the birth date (without separators) are summed. Intermediate totals stay visible as reduction steps.

Master numbers 11, 22, and 33 stop further reduction. Other totals reduce to a single digit.

The number is a memory aid for reflection, not a destiny score or performance rating.

The convention matters. This implementation sums all date digits before continuing the reduction; it does not separately reduce the year, month, and day. For 2000-01-01, the visible sum is 2+0+0+0+0+1+0+1=4. For 2000-09-09 the first total is 20 and the next is 2. An intermediate total of 11, 22, or 33 stops at that value.

Check the displayed arithmetic before reading a cultural association. A different method can yield a different number without either display proving a person's character. Use the optional theme to frame one question, such as how you begin a task or share responsibility, and look for a counterexample in your experience. Your number does not determine ability, employment, financial choices, health, or whether a relationship should continue.
